Owner passed away last year. This car had been sitting in his basement for 40 years or more. This is the most solid body I have seen for a long time. The floors, rockers, inner rockers, body mounts, fenders, doors, quarters, and deck lid are rock solid with no signs of ever having rust or repair. The trunk floorhas a very small hole in the very rear as pictured. The original hood could not be found. We found a solid hood and installed, needs some repair on right front of hood. Interior is very nice, no rips or tears. Has the factory Crestliner steering wheel in near perfect condition, no cracks in wheel or ring. These wheels bring $2000 to sell separate. Original radio. Overdrive transmission. Owner shaved the deck lid and put in primer. Flathead V-8 with Offenhauser dual carb intake, Edmonds aluminum heads. Starter, carbs, and generator have just been rebuilt. The engine cranks over good but has low compression and does not run. Has nice original hubcaps that are near perfect. Body is very straight, has good body lines, doors shut crisp and solid. Needs paint. Have fender skirts in trunk. Car rolls freely. Brakes do not work. Chrome is very solid, would need re-chromed to be show quality. Title is clear and in my name. If you are looking for a 1950 Ford Crestline, you will not find a more solid car to start with. Mileage is non actual on title. Any questions, please call 1-937-325-2408 and ask for Brian.
