Car description |
---|
Up for auction is this original 1932 steel body. This was a old hot rod that was channeled over the frame back in the 50s. I purchased this car about 6 years ago with the intent to build a traditional style hotrod. As we all know things change and life happens so it is now for sale. This body is very solid and never had any serious rust out. Nee brookville subrails were purchased and squared up on a original chassis. The body was then lowered down and squared up on the new subrails. A factory under seat floor pan was installed as was a new brookville rear floor. New lower quarter patches and 1 cowl patch done. The remaining patches are included as pictured but the hard work has been mostly completed.A complete new wood kit was purchased and included. All garnish moldings and dash were sent to California to be factory wood grained by bob Kennedy and are beautiful. The doors are in good shape but 1 needs a half skin put on which was purchased from walden speed shop and is included. Cowl vent there and included.
There was thousands spent on new wood, sheet metal and parts for this body. My loss is your gain. This auction is for the body and body parts only!!! Chassis and firewall not part of this auction but could be purchased sepretly!!!!!This body is for sale locally also. Please ask any questions you may have.
