Up for sale is a 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 GASSER!!!!!! Car gets tons of attention on the road and at shows. The fairlane was built as a street car with a 60's gasser theme.Engine is a 1967 289 bored .030 with a mild cam torker intake holley carb and headers. Trans is a freshened up C-4. Also has a 9-inch rear axel with a 4.11 traction loc center section.Speedway motors front axle with disc brakes. Uses stock steering so NO BUMP STEER goes down the road nice and straight. Chris Alston Chassisworks ladder bar rear suspension with QA1 coil over shocks. The underside of the car was blasted and put in red oxide epoxy primer over 2 coats of black epoxy. New carpet and seat covers. Car was a very solid starting project with only 2 small patches in the lower quarter panels. All lettering is vinyl and can be removed if you would like something different. Don't really want to sell but I have too many other projects I would like to do.
