Car description |
---|
a very rare and cool 1965 falcon 2 wagon. less than 4900 of these were ordered in 1965 and very few survive today. this was a 3 on the tree manual shift but the previous owner moved the shifter to the floor. lots of patina and surface rust but the only real bad rust is on the floor behind the drivers seat where it's rotted through. complete left side floor pans are available through Dearborn classics so its an easy fix. it haS a 170 CID 6cyl in it, electric fan, and was a factory A/C car. the previous owner kept the under dash mounted ac unit but they are pretty common to find on the internet. all glass is good except the windshield has a small crack in it... the back window rolls down easily. it has body damage on the right rear and driver's door where it meets the fender. a city snowplow hit it but its repairable for sure. the door opens and closes with no problems. this would be an easy and great hot rod project. all the parts to convert this to a 5.0 or another V8 are available at Dearborn classics. add a new ac by vintage air and away you go. for anyone hitting the buy it now option, ill throw in a good T5 trans out of a mustang. then you just need the bellhousing for whatever engine you decide to use. vehicle located in reno, Nevada. I will be rebuilding the carburetor too only because due to lack of driving it, it leaks a bit. email me if you have any questions or want more pictures. oh, and it could use tires.. 15in rims on there now. thanks for looking... kevin On Dec-31-16 at 13:03:54 PST, seller added the following information:
i just picked up a set of good tires that i will throw in the the deal if the reserve is met.. mounting the tires will be up to you though.
