Car description |

Up for auction is my 1982 Ford Bronco. I bought it off of my neighbor five or six years ago and did a very extensive restoration on it. This Bronco has the 302 V8, C-4 auto transmission.
The body
All rusted body panels where replaced including front fenders and tailgate. The interior was replaced except for the rear seat and the door panels. I even had the dash apart to replace light bulbs. If you are a taller person you will appreciate the front seat which has been moved back on its bracket for extra room while still maintaining the full length of travel. The paint is ok but not great, the hood has started to fade a little and the final body work is not the best. I did the rough work myself (replacing the sheet metal) and I do very good work but I took it to someone else to paint it and I was not happy with their work. The darker brown on the Bronco is tintable truck bed liner. My wife teaches at the local college and when ever she would drive it I would have a new door ding along the sides. I did that to protect the body.
Drive train
The engine, transfer case, and both axels have been rebuilt. It has Addco front and rear sway bars and the tires only have about fourthousand miles on them. The tires are an aggressive tread design and are very noisy but the Bronco runs and drives as it should and handles better than you would expect because of the sway bars.
The Bronco has new: brakes, shocks, gas tank, radiator, alternator, carburetor, fan clutch, voltage regulator, ball joints and tie rod ends where needed, ac compressor, belts and hoses and anything I could find that I have now forgotten about. The ac and heat both work very well as does the four wheel drive. As far as I know everything works as it should. the only thing that I can think of that it needs is new bushings that go on the beams that anchor the front axel to the body.
Please keep in mind that with all its new parts it is still a 1982 Bronco. The 302 is in my opinion weak when mated to the c-4 auto in a vehicle this heavy. If you are after a car that drives like a modern new car then this is not the car for you. If you want a really solid and very cool looking Bronco, that is very dependable and a very capable four wheel drive then this is the one for you.
I have sold a few cars on ebay over the years so check out my feedback. I am sure I have left something out in the description so please ask questions. If you message me your phone number I will be happy to call you to answer any questions you may have.

The autocheck "accident-minor issue" was when I was stopped at a red light and a lady in a Honda failed to stop before hitting my trailer hitch. It cracked her bumper skin but did no other damage to her car and did nothing to the Bronco.
