Hope this answers some questions.I purchased this in November at an estate auction to be my daily driver. It was a one owner vehicle bought new, all original docs. and books in hand. It was garage kept all it's life. I had it towed on a flatbed to a garage as a precaution before starting it, had the fuel tanks drained, new gas obviously, new 850 cca battery, new air filter & breather, changed the oil, PA state inspection then started it. I have been driving it nearly every day since. I bought it for me. My wife is of the opinion I don't need 3 personal vehicles (who knew), one of which being this 3/4 ton Ford with no airbags. So, it is sadly for sale. It it unmolested, mostly factory, not jacked up, souped up, lifted up, or shined up to cover up. The mechanic reports a 351 Windsor motor, 4 barrel holly carb. not EFI, with 355 rear end. The book says it has a 7,650 towing cap. Original jack & Original retractable Ford Trouble light under the hood (it works), Complete Zeibart under carriage rust proofing & under coating. Solid floors and bed. (new steering rod & bushings, new master cylinder and brake lines all the way to the back. New e-Brake cable, new exhaust from the cat back incl. muffler, all by original owner) The only problems found were (the ac does not work, the mechanic thinks it was changed, not sure, when using the rear fuel tank the gauge does not register, it does with the front.) that's it. Keep in mind the rest is original. hoses, belts, plugs and wires. you get the picture. If I were keeping it, I would do preventative maintenance to keep it running good. What I have reported is what I believe to be true and correct, however, this vehicle is being sold as is where is, with absolutely no warranties, written or implied. My plan if it doesn't sell is to take it the first week of Jan. to Tenn then Texas to visit family. That's how much I believe in this piece of American Auto History. I Hope this helps answer questions.
