Car description |
---|
1978 Ford F250 4x4.
This truck has spent the biggest part of its life sitting in a heated fire hall waiting for the fire alarm to go off.
It has 32 774 km (20 000) documented miles.
The truck has a 400 cubic inch engine and a standard 4 speed transmission with a granny low.
The Michelin tires show lots of tread.
There is a slight dent over the passenger front fender and a slight crack in the driver side rear fender as shown in the pictures.
The one time repaint has faded giving the truck a great survivor look although with a good buffing the paint could be restored to its original luster.
Since it removal from fire duty it has never been driven in the winter.
The truck has a fifth wheel hookup and a conventional trailer tow.
Electric trailer brake is installed. It also has the macro lock braking system that allows you to park the truck and have all wheels locked up.
Great for loading and unloading trailers.
Whelen roof light works great along with the fog lights on the front bumper (covered as they still have the red glass in them)
Siren also works
Please view the pictures to appreciate the condition of this survivor truck with extremely low documented miles.
