Very well cared for Maverick. A "plain Jane" but still a head-turner. One owner over most of this vehicle's life with a desire to maintain as original to factory as possible. Smooth running engine. Was recently serviced for an assessment and now has a new distributor cap with wiring harness, new air and fuel filters, oil and oil filter change. "A fine car for its vintage," was the mechanic's comment. New battery. Easily starts right up. Odometer says 20K and engine may have 120K. Service mechanic doubts the engine has 220K. Newer brakes. Newer radiator. Wheels true. Original radio plays and sounds fine. Wipers work well. Defrost/heater motor fan has some noise but is efficient. Vehicle has always been garaged. Recently mice did enter and use some upholstery stuffing of the front seating for nest building behind dash but those little critters are no longer. Light stinky mouse odor lingers. Exhaust discharge looks as expected. Interior presents very well, including the original carpeting. The driver's seat cover was replaced many years ago and was well done. The doors, trunk and hood align nicely. Photos show the driver's door slightly ajar. There is a circular crack at the lower right bottom corner of the windshield. There is one nickel-sized bullet chip on windshield near the passenger side. The spare tire secures in trunk and is included but does not appear in the trunk photo. All tires appear healthy. All parts to secure the spare tire to the trunk floor are with the vehicle. Extra exterior mirror, extra headlight and service manual come with this vehicle. This was my father's everyday car. After a long career as a pilot he was content to stay within his home area following retirement.
