This is my 1978 Ford Pinto Cruising Wagon. She has the 2.3L four cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. All gauges and lights work. Odometer shows 39,376 miles, I'm assuming this is in fact 139,376 but I can't say for certain. I have owned the car nearly ten years and put just over a thousand miles on it. This car is rock solid, no rust or decay underneath, and needs very little to be completed. The only items remaining on the restoration list are to install new interior carpet and a shifter bezel, as well as the channel into which the window moves when it is completely closed in each door. My next step after that was to have the car stripped, repainted and striped to be totally finished. If you are ok with the color, which I call burgundy, and the scratches on the passenger rear quarter from a childs game of tic tac toe, then you really have to do nothing to have a fun to drive attention getting little car. She is a carb car so you have to pump her once or twice if she has sat for a while, but she runs and stops just fine, has new tires on her from a couple of years ago. She only gets driven a couple of hundred miles a year if that. Car is for sale elsewhere so this listing may disappear at any time.
