We have a decent 1960 Ranchero project... This project comes with bucket seats, center console, eight inch rear axle, and five lug wheel hubs... These features come from a Falcon Sprint or Futura... A 1996 Ford 5.0 liter roller engine will be supplied with the project... The engine is disassembled, but in real good condition... One piston has melt damage, and being thorough is the reason for disassembly... The rebuild was to be higher performance... A basic overhaul is possible... The manual transmission had yet to be acquired, so there is not a transmission... The glass is intact, and rust is minimal for the age... It does have a few rust issues, but not severe, it appears to be a southern car... The original configuration would be a seven and a quarter inch rear axle, bench seat, and a 144 ci straight six engine... The vehicle was assembled in the San Jose, California plant... I am listing this for my brother, who is looking to raise money for a real estate purchase... The underside is solid... The body is complete minus a possible piece of chrome or two... The vehicle will need to be hauled, not driven... The vehicle is sold as is, where is... Buyer is responsible for local pickup, or to hire a shipping company to pick it up...
