For Sale is my 1965 Ford F100 Short Bed with Custom Cab and Ranger Package. The truck has been repainted in the last 3 years to the factory Wimbledon White. It has the deluxe front and rear bumpers, deluxe trim package, and bedside tool box,and the original Ford dealer rubber floor mats.
Some good folks were nice enough to decode the door warranty plate for me.According to the plate, the truck was built in April of 1965 at the MO plant. It originally came with a 240 V6 engine, with manual transmission. The bodyColor is Wimbledon white with a body code F81,which indicates it came with redvinyl bucket seats (Ranger Package). The DSO code is 64, indicatingthe truck was shipped to New Orleans.
The transmission is a manual three-on-the-tree. The original engine has beenchanged to the 302 V8. The truck runs really well. I recently added a new car-buretor and heater core. The clutch and flywheel are also new.For whatever reason, women seem to love the red interior. The seat covers, carpet, gas tank curtain, and the door panels have been replaced.
The overall condition of the truck is a very nice driver quality. There is no ruston the Truck. The underneath body mounts etc... have not been painted so thatnothing would appear to be hidden.
I am a serious seller with a clean title. I have an idea of what the '65 Ranger isworth, so I will be selling at No Reserve. Please email if you have any questions.
Thanks for looking.
