Description
Hello, I am selling my 1966 Ford Galaxie. It has a Ford 460 ( bored over .060 which makes it a 472 ) which was rebuilt 2 years ago and has less than 100 miles on it. Motor is a 10.5 compression, street cam with lumpy idle but not too radical, has 1969 Dove C heads, headers with newer exhaust system, tires have very low miles and are like new, large aluminum radiator with electric fan, weiand intake, Mallory distributor, roller rockers, and hardened push rods. Trans is a C6 with mild stall speed. 9" rear end with 3.00 gear ( lights them up no problem even with this gear and still cruises at a nice RPM. The underside is solid and the paint is decent, but has some scratches and some light bubbling on rockers. The interior needs the most work, but headliner is nice and carpet is good. Needs seats recovered to match ( front seats are out of an older Cougar that do not match the rear seat which is in nice shape). Door panels are dried and cracking and I installed a dash cover over cracked dash board. Rear bumper has some rust pits and will need refinished or I was going to buy a fiberglass rear bumper and have paint matched to car. Paint on trunkhas afew faded spots looks like someone buffed it too much, but not real bad. Please ask any questions and I can send additional pics of whatever you want to see and would encourage you to come see the car for yourself if interested. Odometer shows 77000, but not sure what actual mileage is.
