1984 MUSTANG LX CONVERTIBLE

Description

This is a straight, rust free, no accidents, four eyed fox body convertible. That is the reason myself and the former owner ( who I know)put so much into this Mustang. Former owner did a high quality top with glassrear window, exterior paint ( I have spray touch up and the color code number), and replaceddashboard top pad, carpets, seatbelts, radiator & hoses, and thepower steering hydraulic cylinder unit. After I bought the car, I did new harmonic balancer and front pulley, alternator and belts. I also did four new tires,( with 300 miles on them), andtwo extra (slightly used) tires are also includedtoo! Wheels are American Racing Co. and I have five center caps for them. ( I leave them off because I like the"open wheel look").I hadFour wheel new brakes, emergency brake cables,and upper and lowerdoor hinge pins done too!!! MOST IMPORTANTLY--I had a tune up with a number of new sensors BY AN OLDER EXPERT MECHANIC WHO KNOWS THIS VINTAGE OF V6 ENGINES. THIS CAR STARTS RIGHT UP,RUNS GREAT WITHOUT STALLS, AND IDLES SMOOTHLY--750RPM IN NEUTRAL AND 500 RPM IN DRIVE. A new owners manual and showroom catalog are included. IN SHORT---EVERYTHING WORKS and to the best of my knowledge,the only thing it needs is a charge to the AC system--which I am about to do now. Has a new SONYAM-FM-CD-BLUETOOTH radio.When I purchased this Mustang the (clean) title noted that the odometer was changed. The former owner stated that the owner before him had a broken odometer replaced. Itread 07959miles. when I purchased the car. Combined with the old odometer reading, the car has ( and the title reads) 52,775 miles. I believe thisis the actual mileage, as the drive train feels astight as you would expect at that mileageThis is not aSHOW CAR, Having a fewminor dings & chips(touched up) and some wear on the original upholstery--but no holes or rips.VERY PRESENTABLE APPEARANCE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE----EVEN UP CLOSE.!!!!After driving thisMustangon weekends for several months, I feel itis a dependable classic that could be used as a daily driver if you wish.Shows well and always gets lots of compliments. Much more $ in car than my asking price!!!!
