1963 Galaxie 500 Sedan - Great Driver with Modern AC

1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Sedan. Great solid driver. Perfect car to drive while you restore it. The interior appears to beoriginalbut I cant be sure, t is regardless in great shape. The 352ci FE big block engine starts easily and runs well. The transmission is a "green dot cruise o matic" It shifts as it should under light OR heavy throttle, or some reason with mid throttle it hesitates (not slips) before going into 3rd. This isintermittentand I am told a band adjustment will take care of it. The brakes are good, he shocks are new and the car has air shocks on the rear so you can set the rake if you wish. The chassis and undercarriage are in GREAT SHAPE with no significant rust work speaking of. The body however has some rust spots popping up but they are all external and cosmetic brought on by a poor paint job done some years ago. That's fading and has peeling clear coat. Most of the trim looks to be there with only a mirror and an emblem missing. Can not stress enough what a great driver this car is. It starts easy is not cold natured and drives quite well. Its got modern AC installed and that worked fantastic over the summer. All this car needs is some light body work and a paint job to be perfect. Maybe put some more up to date wheels and tires on it to complete the package.
