1979 Ford F150 4x4. 48000 one owner miles. Auto trans. Lockout hubs. Brand new 265 all-terrain tires. This truck was owned by an elderly gentleman for 35 yrs when I bought it in Jan 2015. I purchased it to lift up and put bigger tires on since I love this body style but have had other projects to work on, o it has just sat here waiting for my time. I have decided to go with a newer truck due to this truck being all original and not wanting to change that so I would like to see it go to someone who is looking for an all original older model Ford that is in this good of condition. The topper has been on it for 25 yrs or better and it goes with it. Due to the lack of miles and sitting so much it will need some TLC, uch as a new battery, tune up, aybe some lube on the gear shift linkage, nd possible brake bleeding. The driver side floor pan will need some repair but not bad. There is a small coolant leak around the radiator, ot sure if its the radiator or just a hose. I haven't tried the 4x4 but it always worked so I haven't messed with it. The locking hubs are real stiff, robably could use a repack after 36 yrs. I have only driven it around town a dozen or so times since I have had it. This truck has a ton of potential with a little work. Don't miss out on a time capsule like this as this body style is getting harder to find, specially in this condition and with such low miles. The box of parts in the photo is the parts that have been replaced over the years and a few he never put on.
