1965 Ford Mustang Coupe - Early 65 D-Code 289*OUR PREVIOUS AUCTION WAS DELETED BY EBAY BECAUSE WE PUT .COM IN OUR DESCRIPTION.*Just arrived at SportsCar LA.This early 65 Mustang is in excellent condition throughout. These D-Code cars are becoming very rare, specially in this nice condition.The 289 V8 starts on the key and is strong. The factory 4 barrel carburetor adds power and it is VERY noticeable while accelerating.This little coupe performs well and is very quick. The transmission shifts smoothly through each gear and is nice at high speeds.Recently had a large service that included new oil and filter, ebuilt carb, new radiator, new plugs and leads, nd shocks.While the engine is the shining point on this car, he interior is magnificent. Carpet is very nice with no fading and the seats are blemish and tear free. The headliner is like new, long with the dash and pad.The underside is completely rust free. This car has spent the majority of it's life in California and it shows. No accidents, ither.Trunk area is clean with no rust or damage around the gas take or inner fenders. Overall this is one of the nicest early Mustang's we have had in recent years. Becoming quite collectible, specially D-Code's.Please call us for more information.
