This is an all original 1973 Ford Ranchero 500. It sat in a barn from 2002-2015. Owned by elderly widow. Original gold paint. Had a black vinyl top that was removed due to damage.Body gaps are all amazing. Doors close like new. Interior is excellent. Seat and carpets are great. instrument panel is great. Door panels are in great shape. Still has original AM radio from factory. Has the 351 Cleveland engine with C-6. Had to have gas tank cleaned and all new gas lines due to old gas. Original 2 barrelcarburetor was damaged when removed, ut still have it. Was replaced witha 1972 Ford 2 barrelcarburetor. Has factory A/C. No beltconnected, o I assume the compressor needs replaced. Engine does not smoke and runs smooth. Has good power and dual exhaust.Have the matching set of original 14" wheels and hubcaps that are in superb condition. They have new Kumho radials mounted on them. The tires shown in pics are 15" aftermarket and they have almost new Pirelli tires mounted. After correcting the old fuel issues it runs and drives great. The fuel sender needs replaced. The pictures show the few damaged areas on the car. There is a dent on the drivers side in the gas cap area. There is also a dent on the passenger side at the rear bumper. There is bubbling (rust) in front of the drivers side rear fender and a small amount around the passenger front fender. The front bumper, rille, ood, eadlight bezels are all excellent. Rear bumper has a ding in it. The rear Ford emblem is bent on both corners. Narrow side molding is not complete. Have missing piece for driver's side, ut not passenger side. Was going to remove when repainted. Emblems are in excellent shape, xcept rear.Original brown vinyl padded dash has two small cracks in it. I was either going to have the original one repaired or have a dash cap overlaid on the original. The bed is in almost mint condition. It had a topper/canopy on it which protected it. Very few dings in the bed!! All stainless trim is in excellent condition including wheel well trim. All in all an amazing original car. Odometer reads 31,980 miles and I was told it could be original miles, ut I personally believe it has turned over. Will try to verify.Working to finish 1973 El Camino right now and do not have the time or money to restore this one. Willing to sell "As Is" with clean Idaho Title. This car has always been in Idaho (very desirable due to low humidity and low rust factor).NADA shows high retail at $29.240 (that is for a show car, hich this is not). NADA average retail for the 500 model with the 351C engine and Factory A/C is $17,355 and low retail is $7,516. It appears that cars like this in similar condition are selling between $10,000-$12,000. My reserve is $10,000 and if it does not sell, will have it painted original gold with black vinyl top, ave it fully detailed and offer it for around $19,000. My body man gave me a bid of $4,000 to repair/replace the rusty areas and repaint to original color. That included a new vinyl top.Car located in Nampa, daho near Boise.
