I've owned this 1994 Lightning for 2 years. I bought it because it hadn't been hot-rodded or modified. The only non-stock item is the Pioneer radio. The truck is for sale locally, o I reserve the right to end the auction early. The odometer wasn't working when I bought it, nd have no idea of how many miles the truck has. The listing function wouldn't accept "unknown", o I entered 1. Be on the safe side and assume it has many miles on it. The good: the truck doesn't appear to have been wrecked or hurt in any major way. It appears that the engine has never been removed. It has the somewhat rare center seat which apparently is a big deal to Lightning people. The body is good except for the typical dings you'd expect on a 21 year-old vehicle. The truck has the original exhaust system including the factory headers. The engine cranks up easily and runs well. The transmission shifts good. It has a set of BFG Long Trail tires that have plenty of tread. It has a Penda bedliner. All of the center caps are there, ut need the emblem. The bad: I've never driven the truck more than 20 miles at a time since I bought it, o I can't swear that you can drive it home. Each time I've driven it I haven't had any problem at all. Ask plenty of questions before bidding. There is a small bit of rust on the lower right cab bottom due to the sliding window latch being broken. I replaced the latch and the interior has remained dry. There is a small rust hole in the driver's lower fender. There are some vacuum hoses that have dry-rotted and go no where. The front bed wall is bent forward against the cab. The front gas tank pump/valve is inoperative and if you switch to the front tank the engine dies immediately. Fog lamps are there, ut lenses broken. The power lumbar seats worked when I got it, on't work now. AC does not work, ut system has some pressure. Compressor doesn't engage. The power windows and door locks work fine, ut the passenger door needs a clutch kit (cheap). The headliner is sagging like every other car from the 90's. Seats are in remarkably good condition. You're welcome to come look at the truck but it has an expired safety sticker and I canceled the insurance and turned in the tags. Be prepared to show a valid driver's license and proof of your insurance. I don't want to be rude, ut I ask that you please not waste my time. I won't waste yours in return.
