Car description

I am selling my 1988 Ford Mustang 5.0 5-speed original California car. I will describe the vehicle as best as I can. I have invested thousands of dollars to get it mechanically excellent. I have been driving the car daily for six months and it is impeccable mechanically. I welcome views in person and phone calls or texts at 619-768-3391 - Sorry for no feedback as I am trying EBAY for the first time. Craigslist is just too dangerous lately - here we go:

INTERIOR: No rips or tears. Gray tweed with high bucket seats. Full Autometer gauges. All working properly. Everything functions. There is NO AC or HEAT. Door panels excellent. Carpet is original and has its usual stains here and there. The seats are great. All plastic is good as well.

ENGINE: The block has been rebuilt with a mild cam. E7 heads. Full MSD ignition. Ported stock upper and lower intake. Aluminum pulleys. Fresh fluids. Aluminum 4 core radiator. New brakes all four corners. Rebuilt WC T5. New clutch. 3.73 gears.

EXTRAS: Real WELD wheels. Good tires with about 80% tread left. New head lights. 5" cowl hood, ull lift off.

The car has lots of power but I have never raced it. I am 42 and left that wannabe racing scene years ago. This car was meant to be a cruiser and to look good. Not all show no go, ut a car that has the power if needed. The only cons is the hatch needs a new latch and the paint is a bit dull but still looks pretty good. The car is not perfect but is a great daily driver and is currently registered through 2016. Never overheats and the gears are perfect for highway use. I have a low reserve considering the labor and parts that went into the car. I have seen salvaged junk going for 3000 or more and this clean titled original California car is not much more than that - bid with confidence and call me with questions or to schedule a viewing. Fly in and drive home anywhere in the country. I can pick you up from the airport. Good luck with bidding!!
