Car description

If you are looking for a Bronco that is built for function over form, hen this might be for you.

I have owned this for about 20 years and I have been driving the Bronco less and less as the years go on. I built it with help from friends and family some of the work is not the prettiest but it works and it works well. I recently had back surgery so my intentions of pulling the body off and doing a restoration are fading. If this does not sell for a price I am comfortable with I will keep it and tear into restoring it in a few years when I am able, f you are looking for a Bronco then you know these are gaining in value, o please don't low ball me. I want this to go to someone who will enjoy it instead of just letting it sit like I have started to do. SOLD AS IS.

Drivetrain

  • Mass air fuel injected 5L high output full roller motor from a 1993 Thunderbird with 87,000 miles total 79k before it was pulled and 8k after installed in the Bronco. Motor runs strong, as air pump eliminator, GR blocked off, AB adjuster (adjust idle without dealing with the other sensors). Aluminum radiator with electric fan in aluminum shroud.

  • T-18 4 speed, .32 : 1 first gear and 1 : 1 fourth gear with custom matched balanced flywheel allowing the use of a larger clutch that was used on the 302 but not the 5L.

  • Advanced adapter to T-shift Dana 20 2.46 : 1 low range and 1 : 1 high that was recently rebuilt and twin stick shifters were added allowing front wheel drive high or low as well as rear wheel drive high or low and four wheel drive high or low.

  • Final reduction 71 : 1 low range.

  • Dana 60 rear - shaved for more ground clearance with custom cover to eliminate the potential of the cover peeling open. 456 Dana Spicer gears, imken bearings, RB air locker, 5 splined Moser engineering 9" axles, nd disc brakes.

  • Dana 44 front - 456 Dana Spicer gears, imken bearing, ock rite, arn hubs, risted radius arm, aised track bar mount. Non graspable Spicer 760 joints with the caps welded to the axles.

Suspension

  • Front BC Broncos 3.5" lift coils, 1/2" shock hoops, ilstine shocks, ffset urethane bayonet and degreed "C" bushings. The bushing adjust the caster for the lift and put the suspension in a neutral position and ride height instead of starting in a bind allowing the suspension to move easier.

  • Rear three link, barS coils, combination of pivot similar to Land Rover D90, ohnny joints and urethane bushings. Lower links are 1 1/2" .25 wall DOM tubing, pper is .120 wall HREW and dual Rancho 9012 shocks.

Steering

  • Tie rod moved on top of the steering knuckle, hreaded 1 ton tie rod (correct LH and RH so it is adjustable) and drag link (1.25" 1/4" wall DOM tubing threaded vs welded inserts)

  • Saginaw power steering pump with increased flow to eliminate the "Ford pump whine".

Tires

  • 36x12.5x15 TSL Radial Swampers, and siped with tons of tread left including a well-worn spare on a mismatched wheel.

Brakes

  • 4 wheel disc brakes.

  • Factory Ford 79 F-150 Disc front

  • Cadillac rear calipers with provision for e-brake that is not hooked up.

  • Hydro boost, ses the power steering pump to assist instead of vacuum, ives a more consistent pedal.

  • Larger master cylinder.

  • Saginaw pump with increased flow for hydro boost.

Fuel

  • NWMP 20 gallon tank with heavy duty skid plate.

  • Rear mounted electric pusher pump to eliminate starving the forward pump.

  • Forward mounted high pressure pump.

  • Inertia switch that is visible and accessible from the driver's seat.

Accessories

  • York air condition pump converted to on board air pump, ith tank running 140PSI to fill tires, un tools or reset tire beads

  • Separate pressure reduced air circuit, iltered with separate condensation trap for ARB, nsuring proper operation and clean dry air to preserve the seals.

  • Optima battery.

  • Stinger mounted "off-road" driving lights.

  • Front "rock lights" that need to be wired in.

  • 2 Ammo cans mounted on the rear fenders for storage.

  • Harbor freight winch front mounted with remote and hardwired dash controls for driver seat operation.

  • Rear storage bin.

Interior

  • Custom dash with Mooneyes gauges and Grant steering wheel.

  • Custom cage.

  • Racing seats with 3 point seat belts mounted to the cage.

  • Interior mounted, ard wired winch controls.

  • Cage mounted CB not functioning properly, ay be the mic but I am not sure.

Body

  • BCBroncos ¼ panel protectors, /16 steel contoured to fit and protect the rear corner and tail light.

  • Bobbed front and rear lower fender corners.

  • Rockers were removed and replaced with rectangular tubing for rock sliders.

  • Heavy duty front bumper with stinger.

  • Heavy duty rear bumper with through welded pull point that is directly mounted to the frame.

  • Quick release removable doors.

  • Upper frames unbolt from the doors.

  • Custom half cab that was built from original hardtop, ot finished on the top, r inside, as flat bar welded to cap the top.

  • Rear cage can be unbolted to remove the half cab.

  • Cage was built to accommodate a factory hard top (I do not have a hard top).

  • Full soft top without windows (they zip out and I do not have them). There may be a couple small tears in the top that would be an easy fix. The soft top framework that may need some work as it was for a different manufacturers top but I fit it once and it was a good enough fit for me.

  • Tailgate has some rust bubbling and a few small rust holes, his is common in the early Broncos and there are inexpensive repair panels available if it's something you want to address.

  • Fenders, oth front fenders are aftermarket and need some attention as shown in the pictures.

  • Hood is thin fiberglass with custom painted black skull with a few "ghost" skulls as well. I will keep the hood and knock off $100 if you do not want the hood.
