Offered for your consideration is this fantastic Dark Clove Poly (dark brown metallic) 1986 Ford Crown Victoria LX. We just acquired this car from a Florida collector in less than ideal mechanical condition and a somewhat weathered appearance (neither of which were expected) and have just completed a very thorough recommissioning of the car to make it safe and reliable for occasional or daily use. This work included but is not limited to new brake master cylinder and calipers, istributor cap, otor, lugs and wires, il & filter change, ransmission fluid and filter change, ear axle oil change, ower steering fluid change, rake fluid flush, ir and fuel filters changed, ull cooling system flush and fill and a full air conditioning service including conversion to R134a. I'm sure I'm forgetting something - the car barely ran and did not stop when it arrived - and now it does everything as it should.

Though very dull when we acquired the car, o the best of my ability to tell (with the help of a paint gauge) it wears all of its original finish and following a careful detailing we managed to bring it back to almost as-new appearance. Unlike many Ford products of this era, his car did not spend enough time outside for its clearcoat to start peeling!

All four of the original locking wire wheel covers and the original tool remain with the car and are in great shape.

We put four new Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II whitewall radials on, hese are about our favorite old American car tire today! I've now put over 500 miles on this car with fresh tires and service and it's ready to go anywhere.

It is hard to believe that this car retains so much originality and yet is nearly 30 years old!

Likewise, he original vinyl top is perfect!

Would you believe that the rear defogger works perfectly as well?

Chrome, rim and lenses all around are just lovely as are the bumper rub strips (an upcharge option!)

The reflection is pretty outstanding... our detailer does a fine job!

In addition to all the heavy mechanical work mentioned above, uch light sorting was needed as well, ncluding repairs to the climate control vacuum switch in the dash, uel level sending unit (new brass float in the tank), ower window switches and lockout switch repaired, iper motor repaired - and a lot more sorting out.

Someone in the past installed a new old stock Ford antenna in place of the original whip (which is in the trunk) but did not expect that they needed to wire it in, o their project stalled! I procured the correct switch and both wiring harnesses from a new old stock parts vendor and it goes up and down perfectly.

Let's take a look inside. Once again, removed the switch panel from this door and cleaned everything - mirrors, indows and locks all work perfectly as a result.

The original Sand Beige seats are in wonderful condition, he driver's seat has 6-way power adjustment.

The car has tilt steering, ruise control (works perfectly), ntermittent wipers and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, ll options on the LX package Crown Vic. See below for the full option list on the original window sticker.

The dash (and original windshield) have no cracks or other damage.

The heavy plush carpeting and original mats are also in wonderful condition!

The passenger's seat is in similar condition to the driver's side!

Naturally, he rear compartment appears to have been seldom, f ever, sed....

The car retains most, f not all, f its original paperwork and hang tags to include the window sticker.

Nice, lean and fully serviced. I actually drove the car home tonight as it's just such a pleasure to cruise in! I never make any guarantees with an old car, ut I think you could fly in and drive this home to anywhere that there are roads to travel on - parts for this car are cheap and abundant should you have a problem along the way and there's certainly no mystery about fixing it to even the most lightly-skilled mechanic.

It almost broke my heart to turn 18,000 miles, ut I wanted to make sure the car was ready for the next owner and have now put another 360 or so miles more on the car, ostly at speed between Augusta and Savannah, A. The car is such a pleasure to drive.

This car is being sold by a licensed and bonded dealer of fine used automobiles located in Augusta (where this Crown Victoria is located) and Savannah, eorgia. Please understand that this is an unusual 30 year old survivor-quality car hand-built and recently resurrected by men and not gods - and is thus sold as-is, here-is with no implied or stated warranty or guarantee; please be realistic about your expectations (i.e., f you expect a new Taurus, uy one instead). As stated above in the listing, e have made a significant effort over the last few weeks and some to correct issues that we found with the car - and with said effort now believe it to be in extremely good health based on many years of experience with other sports, lassic and unusual cars of all types over many years.

Full payment is due within seven days of auction close unless discussed with us in advance of your bid. Your winning bid is a contract to buy, ot just to look or for first right of refusal; the only reason your contract would be null and void is if it was found that we willingly misrepresented the car in the above description. We are happy to refer you to one of the high-quality open or enclosed collector car shipping companies that we use frequently in the normal course of business - and we cannot stress enough the importance of using such a carrier and not a random open transport broker or carrier you might find online, articularly as this is an unusual older special interest car in phenomenal condition. For international buyers, e can carry the car to the port of Savannah at no charge or to other ports for a nominal fee, hough shipping beyond the U.S. border must be entirely arranged for and paid by you.
