Description
Up for auction is a 1965 Mustang 2 door coupe with the Sprint 200 (She deserves every bit of the name sprint!), traight 6 engine. The transmission is one of the first with the synchronized first gear, speed on the floor. We had it painted a few years ago so it does have a few scratches and swirls in it now. When the paint was done the shop also cut out any rust they found and replaced it with new steel, o bondo. Inside the car I just replaced the old wiring with an upgraded wiring harness from painless performance which includes new fuses, ccessories if you want to add them later, etter (and more reliant) power distribution, ptions for a 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder if you want to replace it later all the wires are there already. Within the past 3 months I've taken out all of the interior down to bare metal to make sure everything was solid, o rust was found, rimed, ainted it and installed new carpet. The seats were taken down to their frames and sandblasted, ew foam and new upgraded pony upholstery was put on. I do still have the middle console in my garage but for personal preference left it out. The engine only has 42,xxx miles on it and its driven mainly on weekends once or twice a month. The radio was taken out due to the fact that it was not original and the slot left empty for the next owners preference, he new wires however are there ready to be hooked up. The reverse lights and wipers do not work. Brakes were recently checked, lushed and everything runs, rives and shifts smooth. I have a clear title in hand. I got the car when I was 16, y parents surprised me with it for my first car. The catch however was that I owed them the money they spent and I had to fix it up with my dad to learn about cars. I got it at 38,000 miles and only put 6,000 on it in the past decade. We fixed it up over the years and had a few break downs and learning curves along the way (if you guessed he made me push it home alone you're right...). I've enjoyed it thoroughly while I have had it. I'm in the military now, arried and wanting a house . I'm just glad I'm sending her off as close to perfect as I can get her. If you have questions don't be afraid to ask, 'll respond as promptly as possible. Thanks for bidding and I hope the winner enjoys her as much as I have. Disclaimers: This car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. $500.00 USD is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction and full payment is due within 7 days of the end of the auction and will be received before the car leaves my hands. Pickup in person is preferred but not required. I will do my best to work with your shippers to the best of my ability if you choose to go that route but my schedule isn't always flexible. Once again thank you for viewing/bidding, ave a wonderful day.
