Description
This was one of the most exciting cars we built so far.....I had a Lincoln flathead in storage, e brought it out one day and tried to start it after rebuilding the distributor....wham instant starting, ith not even a problem. It seemed promising so we pulled out a 29 Sedan body and a frame and put it all together in about a month we had a really nice running classic....It really runs smooth and great... it would run up to 70 mph without overdrive and this is no exaggeration....it is basically a stock v 12 with the Lincoln overdrive transmission and a 8 inch Ford rear end with about a 2.72 gear. The rear end is connected via ladder bars, oil over shocks and springs and stabilizer bar.. It is solid and drives nice. The engine didn't need much, ut the water pumps were upgraded and rebuilt with hi flow capacity impellers by George Haney in Florida and the distributor was rebuilt with 12 volt coilsby him as well.. a new alternator that looks like a generator was usedThe exhaust was handmade in our shop by Master fabricator Larry G... we are so proud of his work ..The frame is built of 2x4 steel tubing in our shop..We left the interior pretty simple since its a delivery van and put in a seat.. there is a custom shifter and VOODOO headRadiator is custom work aluminum for a flathead and liquid filled temp gaugespoke wheels and white wall tires, n the front Lincoln, ontinental tires on the back with Lincoln capsDID I mention, e run a full restoration shop under my name, TREET RODS MADE TO ORDER Paypal 500 down non-refundable, ay balance in 7 days by cash, ashier chec, ire transfer.... buyer has to pay for his shipping ... it is not part of the auction....we will help load this car runs and drives and is street legal and steers and stopsOn Oct-27-15 at 04:44:25 PDT, eller added the following information:the reserve price has been loweredPlease ask for more pictures in a question because I am at Maximum allowable and the revision wont allow dropping and adding picturesAn engine like this was featured on Rusted Development and sold for 7500.00 for just the engine that was used in a 1937 Zephyr......Everything works on this car, he brakes are on a Wilwood set up, nd so is the clutch pedal .it is a master slave hydraulic set up..the floor is all new steel with embossed lines in it to prevent buckling. this is no ordinary build
