Up for sale is my 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500. This car was totally redone but not a frame off. Over $42,000 was spent. The car has 3,000 mls since it has been redone. The doors nose was taken off and painted. The jams are mint and under the hood was repainted. The car was fitted with a 406Tri-Power motor. However the Tri-Power disappeared at the restoration shop. So when the motor was redone anEdelbrock intake and an 800 Holleywasinstalled. It's a ten to one compression with a very high lift cam. The front end was redone and disc brakes with 4 piston calipers were installed. It has a new fly wheel and centerforce clutch with a high torque starter. Transmission is a fully redone toploader. The bumpers are new along with grill and headlight doors. It also has anew rear accenttailpanel along with tail lights and trim. Alltheside body trim is also new.It has new ceramic coated headers with two and three quarter exhaust pipes.Radiatior, ower steering unit, aster, rake lines, ndbrake valves are all new. The drive shaft, ll rear brake components, hocks, prings, ear bushingsare also new. The car is fitted with a heavy duty ford chuck locker with 456 gears. I also has an open 325 chuck that goes with car. Interior was alsorefurbished like new and original. All the dash components work. Under dash oil pressure and water temperature gauge. All new seals and weather strippings and windshield are new. The car has the after market cassette Galaxie vintage styleradio in the dash. But, he radio is not loud enough when being driven from excessive engine and exhaust noise. Soo, $4,500 stereo wasnicely and neatlyinstalled. The car is very fast andquick!Hooks really hard on the street while still holing a sleeper look. The car is verysolid with no rotor rust on the under carriagealsono rattles orsqueaks and is nice to drive. The trunk has a scratch as seen in the picture. And a few minor chips that cannot be seen from 3 ft away. Thiscar is not a trailerqueen or Barrette Jackson car. It is a driver. This car was garaged and was never out in the weather after it was redone. All the work was done five to eight years ago.
