Selling my 1955 Ford Thunderbird. My husband and I found this amazing car as a Barn find and she had sat for 20 years on jack stands. Our plan was to fully restore the car so we began by repacking all of the wheel bearings, ebuilding all of the brakes, eplacing the brake lines. This way she was up and rolling again. We then pulled out the carpet and identified that the floor pan was clean. We then bought her all brand new rims and tires from Coker that were 1900.00. Once we got to this point we already had Colorado Engine quote us 4200 to remove, ebuild, nd reinstall the engine. The only problem was once we got to this point life happened now we have to part with out beloved project. If you get this car you won't be disappointed. Currently the car has a Ford 312 in it with the Stock Manual 3 speed transmission. The hard top is the desirable 56 with the porthole window since the 55 didn't have one. Since the car sat indoors all of its life all of the electrical components and even the rubber components looked really good. However I still wanted to replace them on the brake lines. The Body doesn't have any hole rust on it, owever there is surface rust on the car and a dent on the drivers door. The hard top had a Vinyl covering on it we removed to inspect the top and it was clean. This car is valued easily at 27,500 in a low retail value, t High retail goes up to 60K on NADA. So with someone who can take a little time and money they would have an amazing project and investment! No Reserve!!!!Any questions please feel free to call.Sarah/Zach303-947-5690
