1974 Ford Maverick Base Sedan 2-Door 4.1L

This is a survivor car. it had been in a barn for probably over 10 years when I bought it in Northern GA. I bought it from what I believe is was the third owner, ho only bought it to resell. It has normal wear and tear, ut it is in really good condition for a 40 year old vehicle. There are two small rust holes about the size of a quarter and a nickel at the bottom of the left rear quarter, ut the metal is solid all around, ot cancerous. There are little scratches and normal wear on the body. Very early in its life it had the right front fender replaced. You can tell because there is a very slight color difference. The roof has a small dent on the left side just above the rear vent window.I bought this car for my son and it was a great father son project. The dash has one crack and and it has been painted with a vinyl paint. Looks OK. It has a period correct FM converter. I installed a set of 6 x 9 speakers and amp under the seat that you can hook up an iPod too (iPod in pictures not included in sale and is not available for purchase). it by passes the radio and sounds great. it retains all the stock appearance.Engine runs great and does not leak. Transmission leaks a little, ut shifts very smooth.AC works and blows cold. If you run it in traffic it will heat up the engine, hich from what i have read is very common as the radiators were small. We wet sanded the car, t has all original paint. I found the original build sheet tucked underneath the front seat. You can see where the springs rusted on the paper.
