1965 Mustang GT Convertible

I am offering my 1965 Mustang GT convertible for sale, This car has been under restoration for the past four years. The restoration is 85 to 90 percent complete. Due to changes in my personal situation, no longer have time for this project. I will try to accurately describe everything that has been completed on the car, s well as what is left to be done. The car has a VERY RARE (1968) 289 stroker engine and an automatic transmission. From my research,it is my understanding that less than 1000 of these engines were manufactured by Ford in 1968. This car is not a numbers matching, ll original car. It is a very nicely done GT replica. This is your opportunity to buy a super nice project car at a reasonable cost, hat lacks very little to finish. All the hard work and expensive work is already done. WHAT HASBEEN COMPLETED

All Paint and Body Work - Car had had all paint and body work completed. The paint color is Merlow. No rust in vehicle, O BONDO used. All body parts needing any filling were replaced.

New gas tank and gas lines.

All new exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers.

New tires and rims. (Original type 1965 GT wheels)

Complete new interior. (all upholstery recovered, new dash pad, new AM/FM cd player, new carpet)

New chrome bumpers, ights, rill.

All new brakes. (lines, otors and pads)

Total undercarriage has been cleaned and repainted.

Convertible top frame has been sanded and repainted.

WHAT IS LEFT TO BE FINISHED

New convertible top needs to be installed. The new top comes with the car.

Factory air conditioning needs to be installed. I have a 1965 unit (minus compressor) that comes with car.

The chrome "Ford" lettering on the front of the hood needs replacing.

Final adjustments on doors and windows need to be made after top is installed.

Most of the parts needed to finish the car are included I have tried to accurately describe the vehicle and will gladly make the vehicle available for inspection. The car is being sold as is where is. Payment will be due by cash or wire transfer before the vehicle can be moved. Buyerwill be responsible for transport.
