Car description |

Up for auction is our numbers matching 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. This is a total restoration project. This is an original car. It has never been disassembled. It has been repainted 1 time in it's life.It is a C-code Automatic Convertible. Standard black interior..ragoon RED- color code J- original 289 engine and transmission are intact-not sure how good they are. Original door tag still intact. and matching numbers. Clean and free title. The Mustang rolls and steers. The car is complete but rusty. The rear springs are coming through under the rear seat- so that is why there is a 2x4 inbetween the leaf springs and sticking out the rear quarter panels the keep the springs from coming all the way through the rear floor. The base of the rear seat is no good, ut the rest of the seating is fine. The deck li, umper and rear panels are pushed in as seen in the pictures. We got it from a friend that bought it in 1975 and drove it for about 8 years. then stored it both inside a shed and a little outside since then. It has not run in many years. Some kids broke the windows many years ago, ut we have collected almost all the original glass back and that will go with the sale if you would like it. We have also collected a number of other new metal parts that are pictured along side of the car BUT are NOT included in the sale. These extra parts can be purchased after the sale to the winner for an extra $300 if they would like them. The extra parts are as follows:Reinforcement trunk brace-NewFender battery apron-newFloor pan under rear seat lh and rt- newcowl side panels Lh and Rh-newFront grill cross member-newfloor pan to firewall Lh and Rt- newUsed door and front fender- picturedanother used door and fender- not picturedUsed front and rear valance. We have been putting together these extra parts over the years to do a restoration. There is over $600 worth of these extra parts, nd the reason that these extra parts are being discounted to $300 is because we have no use for them when the car is sold. The reason that the extra parts are NOT part of the auction is because it will save the buyer money if they do not need the extra parts and we do not want to give a way the parts. ( In other words, omeone might have a lot of extra parts already and are just looking for the right project car.We can no longer plan on restoring the car ourself, o that is why we're selling everything. We really wanted to finish the car but...This is the best combination for a the 1965 Mustang. Ragoon Red with Black interior and a true C-code 289. If your looking to put your money into a convertible Mustang- this will be the one because it is an original RED car. Plan on having to replace, ix and repair everything, hen you will be in for no surprises..Please note that transportation is completely up to the Buyer. This car does not run, t only rolls. Do not send a large 12 car carrying transport after the Mustang. To get into our neighborhood you will need a smaller transport. flatbed with a wench ( or bring 2 people to push). It is a rusty frame so you should plan accordingly when planning transportation to get it to it destination correctly. I am willing to sell it internationally, ut the buyer should be wear of all the transportation costs and safety concerns for shipping a car in this poor condition. The car is sold AS-ISThere needs to be a $200 deposit with-in 24 hours after the end of the sale. and the balance with-in a week after the sale. If you would like the extra parts listed, lease add $300 to the high bid.Serious bidder are welcome to view the car before the end of the sale- message me and we can set up time to see it. Once the bidding ends the high bidder needs to purchase the car as long as it is over the low reserve. These original Surviving mustang convertible are becoming rare to find. Bid often. Thanks for lookingOn Oct-02-15 at 07:18:20 PDT, eller added the following information:
