This 66 Mustang is very solid rust free car that has been garage kept most of it's life. It is originally a California car and still retains all of it's original sheetmetal. This fastback has super nice floor pans and has only had one repaint over twenty years ago. It was originally yellow but is now red. It has a few imperfections like stone chips and a small scratch in the roof and the right door has a few small bubbles in the front but nothing major and is very presentable the way it is. Personally I would leave it the way it is and enjoy it but if you wanted to take it to the next level it would be so much easier than starting with a project. The engine is a Ford GT40 crate engine roller cam, ron head that runs great and sounds great. It only has a few hundred miles on it. The trans. is a toploader 4 speed with a hurst shifter. This is an original "C" code car. It has all new disc brakes on the front and drum on the rear. The front unibody has had a reinforcement kit put on it like the Shelby's and the upper control arms have been move as well. It has Total Control stut rods on it. This car drives and rides better than any early Mustang that I've ever had. It has new exhaust with dumps that make it easy to uncap. Originally it had A/C but it was all removed, o it has factory tinted glass that is super nice. The interior is very nice as some of it is new and you can see from the pics that all the chrome is nice, nterior and exterior. I have registration papers back to 1971 and the original warranty card that looks like new. The car also comes with a book full of receipts and info manuals for everything that's been done. The radio is not hooked up. If you want a super solid fastback you won't find a better one so bid with confidence.
