1951 Ford F-1
Original 239 Flatheadengine that has been recently serviced and rebuilt. Yes the numbers are matching. The manual floor shift transmission was replaced with a new C-4 automatic transmission with a kit from Speedway motors. (less than 1000 miles on it.) New tires, new brakes and lines, new glass, ndvintage Elderbrock four barrel carb that was added last Summer. The vehicle runs, rives, nd stops. This truck was, nd is, very fun addition to my collection of Ford Trucks. Great fun can be had in this vehicle and itis priced to sell for someone else who likes these trucks. There are others for sale listed at over$10k to $15K ormore, ut this one will not last at my low reserve price. It will be missed because I wanted to play around with it more. If you are a Ford Truck person than this is the right truck for you. If money was not an option I would take out the front suspension and replace it with a MustangII and possibly add a 302 engine for fun, ut this one runs and works fine with the 1951 engine and it's really cool to run an original V8 Flathead.I love Fords and this one was a fun bolt by bolt restoration of a classic. Speaking of bolts, he new ones are all stainless steel, o a body panel change or upgrade will not be difficult. The paint is a 6 out of 10 and needs a good wet sand for the clear coat to really pop, ut I liked the flat Tan.
Anyway, his is a good deal and I've invested much more than than the list price, o feel free to bid and ask me questions aboutthis Tan 51 Ford.
Good luck,
Cory
