Up for auction is no doubt the best built, ll steel A roadster pick-up I have ever seen. You may have seen this car in the past as it has been the subject of photo shoots and has been on the cover of a number of magazines along with the recipient of prestigious awards. Built in the traditional pre war style with the exception of the 12 volt system and chrome alternator this machine is as close to period correct as can be. Starting with an original, owder coated A frame along with an original 29 roadster pick-up body the folks who built this fine car called on Brookville Roadster for the rest of the straight as an arrow sheet metal you see. Engine is a A 4 banger built by the best, &H Antique Ford Engine Rebuilding. These folks used new H-beam rods, ully inserted mains, ounterweighted crank with rear seal and the block was sleeved to standard. The list goes on and on including the 7:1 Thomas head, ntake, ide cover and dual original Stromberg 97s. Just look at the photos, here is so much more to see. Transmission is A with synchros, ightened flywheel and 9 inch clutch. Rear is A with new everything, :54 gears and all powder coated. Steering is F-1 connecting to the also powder coated SuperBell axle with brakes on both ends all 39-40 and of course, ll powder coated. So much more to see here also. In fact, here is so much more to this car that if you are seriously interested you need to contact the owner for direct info but look at the photos, ost questions will be answered. A phone call will be best. Title is a clear California title, his is a real A not a clone. It starts and runs very well, tops better than most and is just a hoot to drive. This is not a fire sale and bottom feeding low ballers will be ignored. Not interested in trades and as always, o test pilots.
