1979 Ford F250 4x4 Pickup Daily Driver Winch 4 speed F 250 Ranger Custom

Auto restoration shop offers this 1979 Ford Ranger F250 4x4 Custom pickup. I've sold several 73-79 Ford trucks on eBay, bought this one for myself to enjoy in the mountains this winter, ut as reality sets in with my busy restoration schedule this winter, need to let this one go. I bought this truck from the original family. I have the original warranty card/placard and recent family receipts with the same last name proving 1 family owned. I have thousands in receipts from professional shops over recent years keeping it tip-top mechanically. This truck sold new in Oregon, pent the majority of its life in the high desert of Eastern Washington. This truck is 99.5% rot free honest dependable old Ford 4x4. This truck has retained a mostly stock cosmetic/mechanical appearance, dult owned, n-molested. I drove the truck 200 miles in 90 degree heat with zero complaints. MECHANICAL

This truck was kept up at a local to me professional mechanic shop for several years by the receipts. The previous owner took it in and had everything fixed as needed. The 351 has been rebuilt, uns perfect, o burning oil. The carburetor has been upgraded to an Electric choke 4 barrel Edelbrock. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts and operates perfectly, he clutch is strong. 4WD works great, his has the part-time transfer case so you have 4L N 2H 4H. Nice Warn XD 9000LB winch with cable (Warn cover behind seat)Disc brake open knuckle high pinion Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 rear axle. Brakes work excellent. Tires are 90% Big Horn Mud Terrain on aluminum wheels. I have a good spare tire/wheel I will include if wanted.

BODY

The body appears to be original to the truck, o wrecks or accidents evident, he frame is excellent. Only notable rot in body is the front outside part of the passenger door. We treated it to prevent further rust, mall spot should be visible in pics. There are some dings in the truck, t's not perfect. Doors open and shut nicely, eat in decent shape, ewer rubber molded mats inside. Of course minor cosmetic imperfections here and there.

If you are looking for a clean honest dependable old Ford 4x4 to use this winter without spending a lot of money for a cosmetically perfect truck, his may be your truck. The truck does not need anything to be put into service today, would not do any cosmetic work as I think the truck looks presentable and don't want to make it too nice to use.
