This is my 1965 C code Mustang. Completed 3 year restoration completed March of this year. The 82,000 mile body was taken down to bare metal. The original panels were rust free and only the Left front fender was replaced due to garage door damage. Car was stored indoor since 1986 until I purchased it in 2011. Every inch of the car has been addressed over the 3 year restoration.The engine is a rebuilt 289 with a nice .500 lift comp cam, 0 over flat tops, econditioned rods, 969 351w heads, oller rockers, tealth intake, olley 600cfm carb., sd coil and the factory point dist.It's a strong engine with around 1000 miles.The trans was gone through. Its the original c-4 as well as the 8" rear end with all new brakes and lines and the 2:80 factory ratio. The fuel system including the tank and dual exhaust is also new(exhaust is fully welded now). The front suspension has been replaced as well as the 15" rims and tires. The interior is all new except for the seats which are original but do show some wear. Sound deadener was installed under the new headliner, ll sides, oors and floors. It has a top of the line retrofit am/fm usb stereo in the factory spot with dual dash speakers and rear deck mounted Alpines. All gauges and power accessories work.This is a very nice restored 65 and solid from the start unlike most. This car runs, ounds, nd drives very nice and it's a great cruiser.
