This vehicle has a very interesting history so I will attempt to provide as many details as possible. I am selling my 1992 SAAC MK2 Vehicle. If you don't know what one of these mustangs are then you are probably not going to know what I am talking about. This vehicle is was on very few vehicles produced by the Shelby American Automobile Club produced in limited run in the early 1990's. This vehicle has been in my family since the late 90's early 2000's. I have validated the history of this vehicle with the SAAC Registrar for this vehicle type. This vehicle was originally on the lot of Sayville Ford in New York. The vehicle was stolen from the dealership and purchased at a COPART salvage automobile auction by Daniel Sambucci who owned a salvage yard in Queens, new York. My Father purchased the vehicle from Mr. Sambucci a few years later and transferred the car to me in 2003. When the car was originally stolen, t was missing the original rims, nterior seating, ood, nd door panels. For the past 12 years I have been trying to find replacement parts but have not been able to find them. Many if not all of themanufactures of the original interior parts have gone out of business. As the car stands now I have Cobra R Rims on it. I have replaced the rear coil springs and shocks with coil over shocks. I have the original coils springs and shocks in another box. The A/C system has been updated to accept the new R134 coolant. It has the original radio and has about 9600 miles on the Odometer. The hood was replaced with a regular GT hood and a scoop was added. I removed the vinylstripesin 2010 because they were not in very good condition. The vehicle also has the 4 point roll cage that was original equipment when the car was new. One mistake I made when I moved to MD was with the mileage on the title when I got the vehicle inspected. The title in my possession has over 12K when I know the vehicle has 9600. Long Story short this is a very nice FOX Body Special Mustang with a very long history. I am selling it because I have a few other projects and I have not been able to decide on a direction I wanted to go in with this one. There are very few of these vehicles on the market and almost all of them are over $50,000. This car would be one for someone who wants this type of performance car but not at the high price tag it would take for one in mint condition. Only Serious bidders need to bid on this vehicle and if you have questions feel free to contact me througheBay. I am willing to show the car in the area by appointment.
