Here at MissChiTown, ne piece of advice that we like to give to car collectors who love their RestoMods - buy a completed a RestoMod - it is usually 1/3 to ½ the investment compared to when you do it yourself. The car in this auction is a meticulously done RestoMod with specifications on every part that far exceed any of the specifications on original Mustangs and in all cases exceed anything that the car would ever need for maximum stress, peed or durability.

The owner of this RestoMod has indicated that while doing this project, rice was of no object - only the best of quality was important for this RestoMod. The owners taste seems to be impeccable and it is hard to think of a Mustang that looks mostly original but has the mechanical, nterior and suspension components that make it a world-class car. The following is in the owner's own words. A multitude of adjustments, odifications and changes for upgrading purposes.

The Private Seller has given us the following description.

This car was built with very few budget restrictions and the idea of exciting Safe performance and memories of the 60's Muscle cars. Intended for many years of fun.

The car has never been stressed to its limits.

Those in the Classic car collecting mode will recognize the term RESTOMOD. It refers to the restoration of a classic vehicle with addition of newer technology and safety features that make a classic beauty even safer and more fun to drive than when it was new.

Most people have forgotten that in the 1960's that the braking, teering and suspension systems were not designed for today's interstate highway speeds. Consequently adding horsepower and acceleration features to make an old beauty more exciting also made it much less safe especially at modern highway speeds.

Discerning collectors who wanted to enjoy the beauty of the past combined with the safety of today began restoring these vehicles with modern, rake, gnition, uspension systems and occasionally more responsive power trains that could now be managed safely. The combination is all the thrill of Muscle car performance in a package that can safely handle it. In short Restored and Modernized (Restomod).

A 1966 Classic with all the look and appeal of a 1966 coupe but with the following upgrades.

Those of you adept at translating Mustang VIN numbers will note that this Classic began its life a mild mannered 6 cylinder 2 barrel family car as Lee Iococa intended—she has come a long, ong way from that as you will see.

Engine --Smeding Crate 347 stroker producing 410 Dyno proven HP and 420 Lb-Ft of Torque.

Ignition—Pertronix 600 Electronic Ignition

Transmission-- Custom built AOD (Automatic Over Drive) 4 Speed automatic transmission capable of accepting 500 HP inputs With 2000RPM Stall converter.

Drive Line---Balanced Drive shaft, inked to a 3.5:1 ratio POSI Trac Loc Ford 9" rear end.

Suspension--- Patented Mustang Shop Coil over suspension (TOKICO Adjustable) with custom stabilizer arrangement.

1 1/16" Sway bar.

Frame—Custom sub frame connectors to accept the increased engine torque.

Reptar coating of the frame and underbody for noise control.

Vent cowling repaired and waterprooffed.

Steering- Patented Steering system—KRC Racing Power Steering Pump-- Cordon Rack and Pinion, laming River Tilt Steering

Brakes- Wilwood 4 wheel drilled and slotted disc brakes 13.25" Rotors front and rear. 6 piston Calipers front and 4 Piston Calipers rear- balanced.

New and Custom Ultra Leather Interior with Pro Car Elite buckets front and stock recovered bench rear.

Northern Aluminum Radiator (oversize)

Vintage Air AC

Custom Panasonic CQ-C3405U/C3305U with Rockford Fosgate Amps and Punch bass Speakers. Power Antenna.

Custom oversize 18x8 Dezenyo Custom wheels carrying 245 /40 18 Toyo Proxy Tires with like new tread.

All mechanical work done by professional mechanics at a Mustang shop.

Sad to sell but family illness has made enjoyment of this car very infrequent.

If requested a customized Car cover will be included in the sale.

Less than 2000 miles since restoration.

I have all receipts for work done, hat will go to the winning bidder. I have put less then 2,000 miles on my car, ince all work has been completed.

All new, tainless steel nuts and bolts throughout the entire car

All new window felts

All new seats, arpet, eadliner and the dash was new from the previous owner

All new window handles and door handles

New Mirror and bracket

All new weather stripping throughout

No leaks at the cowl area, ll rusted areas were cut out and replaced with new metal. It was then sealed.

Powder coating, ith silver vein w/candy red overlay on the front suspension

All new AC parts, rom the fire wall forward, lows cold air

Repaired floor and seam, ealed and raptor liner on under-carriage

Entire underneath of car was steam cleaned and raptor liner applied

Entire underneath of car was caulked on every seam
