Car description

1962 ford galaxie 500 ford 460 with 550hp, 85 torque. aluminum heads, eramic coated shorty headers, qt oil pan, emon 850 carb, oller rockers, electric water pump. runs on regular gas. top loader 4spd, inch rear with 4:10 posi. aluminum radiator. converted to power brakes with discs up front. added a front sway bar, new ball joints and bushings. the rear has new leaf springs and thunderbolt style ladder bars with driveshaft loop. fiberglass front fenders, owl, ood and bumpers, ustom dash with auto meter gauges. All new painless wiring. I have 95% of the interior, ost is new. red and black. battery and plastic gas tank is in trunk. It has 15x6 and 15x10 vintage rally wheels with original caps. Brand new Tires. It has 2 year old stage 1 paint job. It has minor blemishes in the paint. Nothing you will ever see. Little nicks and scratches. All the decals can be removed if you want the clean white paint look. There is nothing hiding under them, built it as a race car with a clean show look too. It has all the original moldings which are in decent shape. There are some dings on the windshield moldings. The parts are hard to find to restore. Its a super clean car that will run low 11's in the quarter mile and cruise the streets to the shows. This car is a blast to drive and is really really fast. I recommend have lots of experience with fast cars if you want this one. Over 30k spent on this car to make it the way it is. I have new headliner to go with it if you want to put it in. I didnt. Also the passenger door opens only from the inside. I never installed the mechanism as I built it for racing. It also needs arm rest to complete the interior if you wanted to. I just want make things clear. Its a race car. I only raced a couple times and it Ran 11.3 best time on Street tires. Can easily run 10's with slicks and no interior. Its a fun Nostalgic recreation race car. Just like they ran back in the 60'sI have a a few video's of the car running and can send them to whoever would want them.
