This truck was built by a guy who grew up with muscle cars and this truck is a fine example of that. The truck is as pristine on the underneath as the quality body and paint work that was done. The rear fenders were widened 3" to accomdate the tire size. The truck is all steel except for the reproduction fiberglass running boards. The interior was done trying to use as much of the original Ford as possible. It has GM tilt steering column with shifter. The stock gauges all have been refurbished, as a Sun tach on the dash. The seat was redone in black leather in a roll an pleat pattern. It has a hidden stereo in the glovebox. The truck bed has a finished oak floor. Truck rolls on American Torque Thrust wheels, 5x10 in the rear, 5x8 in the front. The engine is a 1971 LS6 CE block complete with the aluminum open chamber heads and has approximately 500 HP and runs fine on pump gas. The transmission is a turbo 400 with a shift kit and a 1800RPM stall converter. The rear end is a 3:73 posi. The frame has a 1969 Chevelle front clip with power disc brakes and power steering.
