All steel 1939 Ford Standard Coupe, ed. Purchased 6 years ago out of Texas. The car was totally stock, ith the exception of the interior and paint. This car has absolutely no rust, ondo, r patch panels. The paint has some chips and scratches. The 8BA flathead was professionally built and features an electronically controlled (Mega-Squirt) crank triggered Hilborn fuel injection system. It has outstanding 4-wheel disc brakes. In all probability, his could be the only fuel-injected flathead on the East Coast. The car has been driven for over four years and has been trouble free.
Engine: 8BA flathead, -5/16 bore, " stroke, 76 cubic inch; Hilborn fuel injection/crank triggered; MegaSquirt E.C.U. Laptop turned; Schneider 3/4 cam; Offenhauser heads 9:1 compression; MeLeod hydraulic throwout bearing; aluminum radiator; aluminum flywheel; engine is balanced and blueprinted.
Drivetrain: Mustang T5 transmission; 1999 Explorer differential.
Suspension: Front: Solid front axle - 4 bar; reversed eye front spring - Vega steering box; panhard bar: gas tubular shocks. Rear: Chassis Engineering - leaf springs; gas tubular shocks.
Brakes: G.M. disc front; Ford disc rear; 7" dual vacuum booster/electric vacuum pump.
Fuel System: New steel tank-in-tank pump.
