I.V.E. Auto Sales 335 E. Solomon St Griffi, A 770-233-0060 1965 Ford Galaxie $33,975 Year: 1965 Make: Ford Model: Galaxie Trim: Stock #: 65gal59 VIN: 3S601010101 Transmission: Automatic Exterior Color: Black Interior Type: Leather Mileage: 0 Primary Contact: IVEautosales.com Phone: 770-233-0060 Vehicle Comments The 1965 Galaxie! Once seen that's what you will call this 1965 Satin Galaxie 500 5.9 Cummins! Yes I said a 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel powered by a built automatic transmission with a manual valve body, utting that 500+hp through a DANA rear end. I'm going to tell you...It's the coolest car we have ever owned...I say that to tell you when you drive this Galaxie that 5.9 rattle turns heads (Everyone is looking for a truck) when they see this beauty they lose their mind...this ride turns almost every head on the road. This is a 1995 Cummins Turbo Diesel 12 Valve 5.9 it was gone through rebuilt and upgraded less than 2 years ago, e know it has oversized injectors and other upgrades 500+hp...The Transmission had $9000 worth of upgrades to its the 1995 transmission built to the max with a manual valve body, ana Full Posi Rear-end...We here at IVEautosales.com we love the satin look, e picked satin Black with a satin gold roof accented in gloss contrasting emblems. The interior we had done in satin black with beautifully completed black seats with brushed gold piping. The headlights have been upgraded to ballasted xenon's which looks great, eminds me of the Green Hornet. This is one good looking ROD. I need to stress to you that we have had the pleasure of owning some extremely exotic cars, hat being said you will not not get more bang for your buck if attention is what you're looking for...test me after you purchase the car have a friend drive one of your coolest cars and you ride behind them in this beast and you will see!!!  Below is a article from Bangshift.com from a year ago on the car::::::::::::::::::As you'll see more of today, he diesel swap in a car thing is gaining more and more steam by the week. From 1980s economy boxes getting smallish turbo diesels to cars like this 1965 Galaxie getting a face full of wicked up Cummins power, he economy and performance of these engines is really taking the hot rodding world by storm. Never in a million years did we see this combo coming, hough! We have to thank Chris Cabe for the tip on this Galaxie that is currently for sale by IVEautosales.com. With a 500hp Cummins 6BT engine in the front, Dana 60 axle in the back and a rebuilt and refreshed overdrive automatic trans between the two, his thing has to be awesome to rattle down the road with. The seller is claiming 30mpg and we have no reason to dispute that. With a slightly lowered stance and larger wheels, he car has a whiff of a pro touring vibe. The one thing we would change if we took ownership would be to go with a set of body colored steelies with some fatter meat in the back to give it more of a street racer/drag racer look. Were not knocking the car at all, ust a personal stylistic choice, hats all. The 500hp output of the engine means that it is barely breathing hard at this point. There is a TON more power to he had there. In fairness, t is making prodigious torque and enough horsepower now to be hilarious to drive but this thing could be made into Captain Insano levels of fun by standing on that inliner a little harder. A six speed manual transmission would also add to the top end fun here, ut again, ere just dreaming out loud. Four wheel disc brakes on the corners, beefy Dana 60 axle out backwhats not to love here? Yes, he Cummins weights in at about 975lb wet and thats a few hundred pounds heavier than a 427 FE engine would be so corner burning may not be its thing, ut scaring the pants off of unsuspecting street squirrels sure would be. The want is definitely strong here. (770)639-3463Visit I.V.E.
