Car description |
---|
You are looking at a very RARE old crew cab truck. This truck is a survivor and has what I BELIEVE to be the true miles of 91,000 but I can not guarantee it has not rolled over. I bought this truck a few months ago and cosmetically restored the interior and went through it to get it back on the road. I rebuilt the carburater flushed out the fuel system and the gas tank. I installed a new fuel pump and changed the engine and gearbox oil and I got all the lights working. I made new door panels and a new headlinerand put a radiant barrier and sound deadener on the roof and floors. There is only one VERY SMALL rust spot on the passenger front fender less than the size of a dime and the passenger front floor pan needs a patch about one square foot in size where the weatherstrip failed and caused some rust through on the floor.
It runs great and the brakes work as they should and the clutch and transmission work excellent. It has a 2 speed rear axle and a 4 speed manual transmission. The dump bed works perfect and I built wood side rails using treated wood. I have put about 500 miles on it since I purchased it. The tires are pretty dry rotted but they do hold air. The heat works and all the interior lights work and all the gauges work. It has an Eaton 2 speed rear axle and the engine does NOT smoke or make any odd noises and it does not overheat. The 330 CI V* is called a "heavy Duty" or "Industrial engine" and they are nearly indestructible.
