Description

Up for sale is a great driving, 969 Ford F-100. This truck has been gone trough from end to end with the only original pieces beingsheet metaland part of the frame. The truck has been in its current condition with modifications for 2-3 years now and we have put many, orry free, iles on it. I would not hesitate to hop in this truck and take a long trip somewhere. Now on to the specifics as to what has been done to the truck. The engine is a rebuilt 1968 model 302 with a valve job and freshened up short block that includes a Crane Cams cam to give it a little more lope in the idle for sound. The intake was changed to an Aluminum, rofessional Products intake topped off with a Holley Street Avengercarburetor. The ignition is controlled by a Mallory Uni-lite distributor along with an MSD blaster 2 coil. For a transmission, Ford AOD overdrive transmission was completely rebuilt and topped off with a 2400 stall torque converter. This combination with the rear gear set chosen has allowed great cruising speeds down the interstate at 70 MPH that doesn't make the engine turn too many RPM and still averaged around 18 MPG with a big and boxy truck. A Lokar gas feed kickdown cable and dipstick tube was also used. Other parts for under the hood was an aluminum replacement radiator and electric fan along with new power steering pump, alternator, tarter, ater pump and other necessary replacement parts. To get the truck to set lower than stock, Plymouth Valarie torsion bar front clip was professionally installed to allow for a comfortable and height adjustable ride. While installing the front clip, new ball joints, itman arm, dler arm, alipers, ads, otors, ubber brake lines, nd bearings where replaced. Out back, Lincoln Mark VII Disc brake rear end (with sway bar) was used along with 3.73 rear gear ratio. New calipers, ads, otors and rubber brake lines were also replaced when installed as well a custom builtdrive shaft. As for the wheels, hey are Boss 338 20x10 and 18x8. The rear end has the 4" hanger and shackle kit with a couple leafs removed from the spring pack and the front spring relocated up 1" to get the ride height it sets at. The truck is lowered 5.5" in the front and 9" in the back if I remember correctly. As mentioned before most of the sheet metal is stock but the floor pans and cab mounts have been replaced already along with some rust places already fixed. As pictured there is another hood and passenger door that will be included with the truck. Inside the truck there is an all new wiring harness, DO gauges, ubber floor insulation, nd carpet. The seat is out of a mid 90s Ford F150 and covered in an ultra leather along with the head liner. A few other new parts consist of all new light sockets through out the truck, oor locks, indshield, indshield rubber, oor rubber, nd back glass rubber (not installed), ash topper (not installed). This is a great driving truck, specially when compared to stock and is a great truck to take for a cruise.
