With all that said, ood luck with the purchase of a new vehicle, hether it is this one or another one.This is a F100 I purchased from a tire shop owne, t runs and drives well. It has dual exhaust pipes and has a really nice rumble to the motor. It does not have mufflers, ut some type of sound deadener before the pipe ends, o that it makes the rumbling noise. It sound very cool almost as if it had a mild cam, lthough frankly I don't know if it does. Truck is not perfect by any means and it is not a show car. I have driven it quite a bit, nd even a distance of like 40 miles when purchased, nd offered no problems. I do not know if this could be "your" daily driver. People always ask me that and that's a loaded question becaUSE ther e is no way to know what someones else's conditions and requirements are..it does seem to drive shift and stop with out any issues that jump out at you or that appear to be wrong other than the wear and tear from age.NOTE: SINCE THESE PICS WERE TAKEN I LOCATED A USED REPLACEMENT GRILL ($350.00)GRILL INSERTS WERE REUSED. AND REMOVED THE DAMAGED ONE AND INSTALLED THE REPLACEMENT WHICH IS NIC, ALSO REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD WITH A NEW WINDSHIELD,SINCE I FOUND A CRACK IN THE ONE PICTURED. I ALSO REMOVED THE EXTRA ALUMINUM TRIM THAT WAS ON THE CAB CORNER AND BOTTOM OF DOORS TO MATCH REST OF BODY.4 new tiresnew batteryaftermarket detachable radio. (works perfect and has ipod aux plug, t seems a little loose on the dash if you try and move it aroun, aybe not secured properly in the back. also speakers are not built in they are external speakers that sit in the bank behind the bench seat. it does all work however)after market sliding glass window- (not sure how to lock it. maybe missing a small locking tab< stays perfectly closed, ust not locking)all glass seems good and driver grade, o cracks that I have seen.new windshield weatherstriphood had a lot of imperfections so it was completely repaintedhas disc brakes in front, rum in rear, o power boosterwipers work, eadlights workdoes not have side external rear view mirrorshas nice rims which appear to be aftermarket with center caps. they are not new but nice.new pt wood treated bed.bench seat has been repaired and dyed black. not a show seat and I would say needs reupholstering. definitely usable but lots of repairs on it mainly on the ends and driver portion of seat.front grill has been dented in in passenger side in several spots, lease see pictures.tailgate gets stuck when opening sometimes, aybe its just lubrication, ut it does always open with a little effort.has after market three gauge set up as dash gauges are disconnected. oil pressure and coolant pressure works perfectly, attery indicator is intermittent, aybe a ground cable, aybe gauge is bad.no air conditioner, lthough seems to have plate for ac compressor.has chrome air cleaner, delbrock carb, nd edelbrock manifold. lots of work has ben done to this motor, ou can tellexhaust pipes are new from rear to close to frontframe is excellent, here is no rust anywhere on frame that i can see and ive looked extensivelybody has rust in the following places- small rust nothing major on inside of hood on the inner driver side lip, , nbsp;one dime size rust hole, n top of the corner of the passenger side above the windshield corner. it was filled in, lso some minor rust on the inner top of cab frame, n passenger side, nly really visible if you open door, ts a series of like small little holes maybe an 1/8 in diameter, nd maybe four little holes. could easily be fixed by grinding and a little filler. I left it as to not cover it, lso on the same passenger inner frame of door on the bottom front corner, gain visible when door opens, here is like a three inch spot that has bondo, ooks like old repair.floorboards are solid, ed was solid, inges and structures all solid, nly little rust mentioned is around windshield, ruck has very little rust, othing significant, nd no caked on bondo anywhere, xcept small spot I mentioned above in inner door. Obviously I dont know what has been repaired in 42 years that I cant see, ut I've looked closely and its generally very solid truck.someone woked on undercarriage, here are many new grade 8 bolts, new brake lines in some parts, t appears it was someones driver.it doesnt have any leaks that I notice, ut it is an old car, am sure there is something leaking in tiny amounts somewhere but I can see it really.speedo workstank is on frame and not inside cab which is nice.looks like someone painted the truck white. it looks decent and presentable, ot a show paint job. Also has some faux paint details in some areas were there was imperfections.has new roll pan from lmc truck which was also painted to matchjust had oil change.has lap seat belts, nd passenger one is missing one side, hey are also tan for some reason. (seat belt kits are inexpensive from aftermarket truck companies and will bring shoulder harness portion)has interior vinyl embedded headliner, hough chrome around headliner could use a polish as it has surface rust and humidity spots.dashboard is driver grade. it was dry from sun and I treated it with silicone, nd it looks presentable. an also be recovered, ut its usable.windows roll up and down, ut are not completely smooth due to age, rob needs lubrication but do function properly as far as opening and closingdoor weatherstrip is missing on both doors.carpet is driver gradeI have no clue how many miles are on it, ts 42 yrs old, t definitely has over 100k on it, nd prob twice that, ut I am assuming based on gaskets motor has been worked onv8 nice running motor, m trying to figure out what displacement ishave clear title fro the truck in handinside driver side door handle has a piece broken off. it works perfect but I placed blk tape over it so it wouldnt scratch someones hand. Needs to be replaced but worksalso trunk latch has a missing tab on it under hood so I use a small pliar to grab it easier and open hood, ut it works perfectlythis is a great used short bed truck that has had tons of stuff done to it, t can be someones work in progress, r a cool truck to hang around in.
