I have owned this great little 1986 Fiat X1/9 targa top for the past 5 years and it's a blast to drive. Unfortunately, y wife tells me I don't have the room to store it in the garage any longer :-)The exterior is in good shape (it's not a show car but for being almost 30 years old, t's pretty darn good) with some small scratches and a little dimple or two. Rust is minimal and what is there is shown in the pictures. Interior is in great shape with no tears in the dash like you see in many Fiat's of this age. Power windows work great. Tranny is smooth and engine run great. New tires and a complete brake job (ceramic pads and slotted rotors) within the last 1000 miles. There is AC but it doesn't work (when it's warm, ust take the top off, oll down the windows and drive faster!). I've never had the problem diagnosed so don't know what it would take if you wanted to fix it. This X1/9 has the unique front and rear spoiler package that I've never seen anywhere else. Gives it a really nice look! These cars were never super quick but fast and a blast to drive. This car has not seen a rainy day since I've had it and it gets stored inside all winter. The areas that are most prone to rust (around the windshield, hock towers, ear trunk) are in great shape except for a little rust in one corner of the passenger side which I included in the pics. The yellow tint you see in the front and rear trunks is the original rustproofing.2 years ago, e added the carbon fiber vinyl stripes on the side and front/rear hood. If that's not your thing, ust peel it off. The paint is fine underneath.I have new Clarion speakers that are not installed yet that are included as well as a backup windshield which I've had for a few years just in case (nothing wrong with the current one). Just had an oil change and passed NYS inspection with no issues. This car does not leak any fluids. Thanks for checking out my X. Feel free to ask any questions
