This 1969 Fiat 500 was refurbished in Italy prior to its importation to the US three years ago. I have owned it for the last 2.5 years and need to sell now. The work included installation of a 650cc 2-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual gearbox with synchromesh, Ferrari red paint, a custom interior, and a foldable checkerboard sunroof panel.The car was repainted in Ferrari Rosso Scuderia Red (323).A custom checkerboard-patterned foldable sunroof cover is fitted and the 12″ steel wheels wearKingstar Centum tires at each corner.The customized interior features burgundy and white seats, dash, rear deck, and door panels.A 650cc enginewas reportedly installed in place of the original unit, andpower is directed through a 4-speed manual gearbox with synchromesh. Service in 2016 included changing the engine oil, spark plugs, and ignition points. I also had all the fluids topped and checkedrecently and put new battery.
The car is in mint condition. 650 cc engine runs good and 4 speed transmission shifts well. It was always garaged kept since I bought it. All fluids up to date. Everything works like it should. Body and paint are perfect. No rust. The soft top is perfect and seals properly. The custom interior is mint. The brakes, suspension, wheels are great. Tires have life left. All major electrical parts and gauges work.
