Description
This car has been well cared for and maintained. It starts, runs and drives excellent and definitely gets lots of looks and comments!The X1/9 was designed by Bertone and manufactured by Fiat. With a transverse engine and gearbox in a mid-mounted, rear-wheel drive configuration, the car was noted for its balanced handling, retractable headlights, lightweight-removable hardtop with headliner and front/rear-storage compartments
The car features a 1.5 liter fuel injected, 4 cylinder engine with electronic ignition and overhead cam. It has a rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission with a new clutch, axles and wheel bearings. The X1/9 came from the factory with 4-wheel disc brakes which have been completely replaced with all new components. The interior has been totally refreshed with new carpet, custom seat covers, dash mat and a new stereo/speakers. It also has many new parts such as tires, water pump, hoses, oil/filters and tune up (plugs, cap, rotor, wires and valve adjustment).
