Car description

For sale a 1968 Fiat Dino V6 2000 in good condition. This is a true Dinoplex car. Originally sold in the US.This is a matching numbers car with great potential.Engine is the original twin cam, all aluminum, 3 dual Weber carburetors, V6 Ferrari engine, shared with the Dino Ferrari 206.This project was started many years ago and then put in storage for several years, now it is time for somebody with time and skills to return this classic to mint condition. This Dino got out of storage 3 months ago, the mechanic (a Ferrari specialist) cleaned the carburetors, replaced oil and oil filter and started the engine after several years of being stored.Car was in process of being restored when it was put in storage for many years.Car runs, drives and stops but it is recommended to have it throughly checked before you use it as a driver again, I only test drove it for about 3 miles after being stored. The engine sounds great and idles nicely, no smoke or oil leaks anywhere.Operating temperature is normal and engine does not overheat.Paint got faded and started to peel specially on the driver's side and metal got exposed in several spots so primer was applied to avoid rust. This is a rust free car. Rocker panels, floors, trunk and undercarriage are all rust free. All bumpers and mouldings are stainless steel and are in very good condition. Car is complete.Clutch works OKEmergency brake works.Hood and trunk both locks engage OKOriginal Dinoplex ignition worksPower windows workHeadlights and tailights work.New Kuhmo tires 195/70R14Cromodora wheels are straight, and cosmetically in mint condition.5 speed Transmission shifts fine trough all gears.Odometer is showing 14800miles, my guess is thas has 114800miles.
Things that I noticed:turn signal switch is not working and does not engage.Speedometer is not workingHorn does not work (original Fiamm compresor is operational (tested) and pneumatic horns are in place) Stock horn is also there.Fuel tank needs to be cleaned (it is running now from an external container in trunk as adviced by the mechanic to avoid messing up the carbs)Front seats have a few hairline cracks in areas of the vinyl as being old but overall in decent shape.

Car is registered and Titled in California. Clean Title in hand.
Please feel free to ask me any questions about the car.Car is available to be seen in Los Angeles, CA

I describe the vehicle as accurately as possible; however there is no possible way to know everything about a vehicle that has been previously driven and stored, subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. Mileage described believed to be accurate according the condition of the car, but I cannot certify it (unable to run Carfax report due to vehicle age).
