Car description |

We already know you're looking at this because you're a fan of the outrageous. So yes, while we do call this car 1937 Fiat 500 Topolino, it's really a full custom modern drag car. So check out the custom frame, mean Dart V8, and so much other custom work makes this a true one-of-a-kind for the street or strip.
Something this wild is not for the faint of heart, and so to a drag racer with holy ambition is quite appealing. As you get closer, you'll even see that the silver "pinstripe" separating the black and purple two-tone is actually a full verse from Corinthians. This was last raced by a chaplain, and so this makes for a high-octane preaching tool. But for those who don't have the same mission on the track, these decals can be removed. And the appeal of this one is for more than just the devout. ScottRods built the custom fiberglass body that resembles the first-gen Fiat 500 minicar. There's plenty of fun irony in a vehicle nicknamed Topolino (little mouse) on something so mean. After all, with the ultra-long hood, huge hood scoop, and wheelie bars, this will even intimidate Mighty Mouse.
The black and purple theme continues inside. But while the colors coordinate, what you're really interested in is that this is an NHRA certified package. The full race cage surrounds you; there's a five-point RJS racing harness; all the toggle switches are clearly labeled on the Painless box; and the AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauges are crisp, especially the all-important large tach mounted centrally on the dash. You've got a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter with line lock and trans brake for powerful and controlled runs down the quarter mile.
The hood lifts straight up and the front end tilts forward to give you terrific access to the monster in this mouse. You're looking at a DART M block 540 cubic-inch V8. It has been enhanced and fortified with a Brodix BB2 Plus cylinder heads, Cloyes gear drive cam, ARP main and head studs, forged steel crank, bronze bushing full floating pins, SFI flex plate, MSD 7AL-3 ignition control system, and topped with a massive Quick Fuel 1150 CFM four-barrel carburetor. It's a big power package, and so the custom headers deliver a thunderous roar that will scare the devil out of most people. There is a proper stout Powerglide transmission with TCI valve body, as well as input and output shafts. It feeds a Moser 9-inch rear 35-spline axle with 4.10 ratio for power take-offs. Plus, you have a Heidts IFS front end, Chris Alston four-link rear, adjustable coilovers, and four-wheel disc brakes.
There's a ton more info on this unique sub-10 second car, so gives a call for all the details. But you already know this is the unique and professional-grade drag machine you need to get your hands on right now.
