Car description |
---|
Selling a 1976 Fiat 124 spider, we bought it from the original owner. The car has been sitting in storage for the past 10 years. The Fiat has 67,000 original miles, I was told by the original owner that he flat towed the fiat with is motor home. The drive train has less miles than the chassis. Since its been sitting the brakes were sized up. We replace both the front and rear calipers and rear rotors and pads. The Front rotor and pads looked good and were in tolerance. We also had replace the rubber brake lines, and the master cylinder. For the motor we did a full tune up spark plugs wires, plugs, cap, and rotor. The oil and oil filter and the fuel filter have been replaced. Rebuilt the carburetor with new jets and seals. Replaced the water pump, thermostat, and new custom aluminum radiator. The motor runs great, transmission shifts into all gears. Clutch feel good and responsive. The car has been repainted 15 years ago, not the greatest paint job, 6/10 overall. The interior is in decent shape 7/10 overall. The canvas top has been replaced and in good shape. Comes with Fenton wheels, he had them custom made from the factory. He knew Fenton bought them directly from the factory. The electrical, all of the gauges work, and headlights heater fan cooling fan dome lights and etc. The brake light switch down by the pedal is broken, so the brake lights do not work. We can't get the turn signals to work either. Everything else electrical works as it should. For the most part the car is RUST FREE the crome is coming off the bumpers, shows rust. The paint is bubbling in the trunk lid, but not rusting through. The floor boards do not show any rust or holes or soft spots. The Fiat has ton of potential, the car is complete perfect for a summer driver.
