VIN: 130BC0004097 Paint: Indianapolis Silver (0605) Trim: Black Leather Exterior: Indianapolis Silver (#0605) is the original color, and this car was repainted once. Finish is very good, with no clear-coat aging or significant chips or scratches. There is one scuff to be aware of, which is over the passenger rear wheel, from where the car rubbed a garage wall. Contact was extremely light and only took off the top layer of paint, and still shows silver underneath. While there aren't any chips or scratches, there are a couple small bubbles to be aware of. Noteworthy bubbles are on the driver's side of the hood, at the very front corner where it rolls over. It has not cracked the paint, but a couple tiny bubbles are there. There is also one dime-sized ding, located at the rearmost and lowest point of the driver's rocker panel. Glass is all clear and crack-free, while the reverse light lenses both have hairline cracks. Stitching on the window channeling is fraying, which you can see in the video. Very minor, but worth noting. Chrome is excellent throughout, with a mirror-like finish. As this car was designed by Paolo Martin at Pininfarina, best known for his work with Ferrari, DeTomaso, Ghia, and Bertone, this car wears Pininfarina badges, which only adds to quintessential Italian feel of the car. Again, please watch the YouTube video accompanying the listing, as it provides a thorough walkaround of the vehicle. Interior: The interior of this car is a great place to be. The black leather against the silver exterior suits this elegant coupe just perfectly. Seats are in phenomenal shape, with no scuffs or cracking in both front and rear. Driver's seatback was re-covered in 2010, whereas the rest of the interior was left untouched. Dash is in excellent shape, with all interior wood showing very nicely. No cracking or anything of the sort. Door panels and interior chrome are in excellent shape. Grey carpeting is in great shape, and the car will come with grey floormats as well. Odometer reads 52,052 km (32k miles) and is functional. The passenger side power window is currently not functioning, and has a crank installed so you can roll it up. The door panel was not cut into in order to make way for the crank, these cars actually have a small circular plug that can be popped out for this very reason. This car has a number of great interior features; there is a lever below the dash on the driver's side that will pop open the passenger door, there are switches on the dash that include two settings for the horn, there are levers that will crack the rear windows open, and there are two gloveboxes seamlessly incorporated into the dash. Headliner is ribbed leather, and really rounds out this stunning interior. The original radio was swapped out for a more modern unit (not functional), though a period Blaupunkt CR-4096 will also be included in the sale. Underhood & Underbody: With recent major services, including timing belt and tensioners, water pump, and clutch, this car is in excellent mechanical order. The 3,235cc twin overhead cam V6 is noteworthy in that it was developed by Aurelio Lampredi, an Italian engineer well-regarded for his work with Ferrari, where he made a name for himself by designing many of Ferrari's Formula One V12 engine in the 1950s. While not extraordinarily powerful, with 165hp at 5600rpm, the 130 Coupe is as quick as you would ever need it to be. This car was not built for speed, it was built for maximum comfort and style at speed. The ZF dogleg 5-speed is a joy to operate, with smooth, fairly long throws and a nice audible click when selecting the next gear. The exhaust note, while fairly subtle, is surely one of the highlights of the car. Brakes are excellent, and the rear calipers were rebuilt in 2012, roughly 1500 miles ago. Underneath, the car is in excellent shape. There is nothing more than light surface rust on a couple of suspension components. Floors and rockers are excellent. This car retains all of its original metal. This car has clearly been garaged and treated like the rare collectible that it is; the condition of the car, exterior, interior, and underneath, speaks to that.
