Hello! I'm selling my 1972 Fiat 500 without reserve.
She's in great shape, brought over from Italy about 2 years ago - I have copies of the import documentation. A full restoration was completed before bringing it across. The motor and trans were rebuilt, interior redone in beautiful red suede, paint resprayed, etc.
Motor is the stock 2cyl 500cc engine with 4 speed manual trans. She's not the fastest car in the world, but keeps up with traffic just fine and is even ok for the occasional foray onto the highway.
Everything works: lights, horn, wipers, etc. Tires are new whitewalls, $850, literally this week.
No rust: floor pans are good, rails under doors and doors are solid, shock towers are good, etc. Check out the photos.
I drive her almost every day. She handles great, starts right up when she's cold, tracks and brakes straight, and is overall a great, fun car.
There is a small chip on the front driver fender from where someone opened their door into mine, and a second small chip on the passenger rear fender, I think from a rock. Nothing major. All glass is good, paint is good, etc.
Nothing gets more smiles per gallon than the little fiat. :)
Car is in Portland, Maine.
Sold with bill of sale, Maine doesn't issue titles for cars this old. Again, I have all import documentation to go along with the sale.
Please ask any questions. I'm happy to share and want her to go to a good home. I'll, of course, help with loading for shipping and whatnot.
